Programs
Peace and Security Program (Counter Violence extremism)
- Initiating activities to foster peace and security among teenagers, youth, and women in the
Coast Region. - Providing a platform for open discussions and collaborative problem-solving.
- Implementation through the " Soccer for Peace Project” aimed at preventing juvenile
gang involvement and substance abuse.
Climate Justice
- Collaborating with marginalized coastal communities for climate change adaptation and
mitigation through local solutions. - Adopting Mdekerekani in Kisauni Sub-County for mangrove restoration, with monthly
plantation events.
Governance and leadership Program
- Facilitating conversations to empower individuals and communities for positive civic change.
- Encouraging active participation in advocating for community interests.
- Ensuring Coast residents are empowered to engage in local government projects
Sexual Reproductive Health Rights
- Addressing sensitive issues across all genders through a focus on Sexual Reproductive Health Rights of youths (12-24 years).
- Gaining consent from teachers and parents/guardians for school-going children
Objectives
- Sensitizing teenagers and youth on Sexual Reproductive Health Rights
- Providing psychosocial support to victims of Gender-Based Violence
- Assisting victims in accessing justice through referrals to Coast General Hospital
- Partnering with stakeholders on awareness creation and addressing perpetrators of GenderBased Violence
- Creating awareness on Sexual Reproductive Health Rights through storytelling
